Rules/Requirements

Enrollment in BCBC is contingent upon a student’s background.
To enroll in a particular degree, a student must meet the following minimum requirements.

Associate Degree:

High School graduate or GED

Bachelor’s Degree:

Completion of associate degree from accredited institution or
equivalent higher education courses completed.

Master’s Degree:

Completion of Bachelor’s degree program

 Doctoral Degree:

Completion of Master’s degree program

BCBC recognizes that many individuals may not meet these
requirements but because of their personal experiences, they may
be qualified to achieve one of the higher degrees. These students
may apply for admission based on life experiences. The
requirement for this exception is below:

Life Experience

BCBC recognizes that life experiences gained through years of
ministerial work may preclude college or university courses.
Many people have served in ministerial positions and gained a
lot of knowledge and experience in their field, but do not have
any formal certificates, diplomas, or degrees. Life experience
credits can give some of the recognition needed for the service in
the work of the Lord.

Applicants must have had more than twenty-five years in a
recognized position in ministry to exempt them from having
fulfilled the prerequisite course requirement for a degree.
Life experience, which could include (but not limited to); books
authored, mission trips, classes taught, outreach ministries, must
be documented, along with the years they occurred. This

information must be submitted with the application for
evaluation.

Application for Degree

The application for degree serves as the official notice of intent
to graduate. Graduation materials are ordered by the college
administrator based on these applications. These applications
must be received by the administrator on or before the deadline
established. Any delay could result in incorrect or no graduation
supplies ordered.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees for BCBC are kept at an affordable rate. The
amount deemed for tuition and fees includes a $50
nonrefundable application fee. The all-inclusive fees include all
materials needed for the course. Tuition and fees include
graduation regalia. If the graduation regalia is not included in
tuition and fees, the student will be notified.
Tuition and fees may be paid at one time or may be paid in
monthly installments. Please note: No degree will be awarded until

all tuition and fees are paid.

For a complete listing of tuition and fees, please consult the
current year’s information sheet.

Payment Methods

Tuition and fees may be paid in full at the beginning of the
school year or in monthly installments. The amount of the
monthly installment is determined by the program the student is
enrolled in.

Payments may be made in cash, by check or money order or
electronically by Square, Cash App, or Venmo. Please consult
the current years payment information for specific fees, if
applicable.

Withdrawal

Students are expected to complete the courses once they have
enrolled. However, there may be instances when a student may
need to withdraw from the college. The decision to withdraw is
solely the student’s but it is encouraged that the student consult
with the college administrator before doing so. No withdrawal is
complete without the acknowledgement of the college
administrator.

There may be times when a student will be withdrawn from
courses due to noncompliance. This occurs when a student falls
behind in completion of the assignments, either tests, essays or
both for at least four weeks without communication with the
instructor or administrator.

NOTE: Tuition will not be refunded when this happens.
A student may be withdrawn at the sole discretion of the college.
When this happens, there is no recourse for continuation.

Evaluation and Grading

It is the responsibility of the faculty of BCBC to assign to all
their students grades that adequately reflect their achievement in
the class. Grades are based on test results and written
assignments completed throughout the course. All tests and
assignments should be returned to the student in a timely manner
so that the student can examine their own progress.

A standard 10-point system will be used in grading:
90 – 100 A
80 – 89 B
70 – 79 C
No grade below 70 will be considered passing

If there is a question about the grade, students should contact the
instructor to resolve the problem. If no satisfactory solution is
reached, the student or instructor may contact the college
administrator for final resolution.

Distance Learners (Virtual Students)

Distance learners are students who cannot attend class on the
assigned night. Students are given access to the class via private
web pages that are class-specific. Course materials are sent via
email.

Calendar

Due to time constraints, BCBC does not observe many of the
federal and/or state holidays. Classes MUST MEET for 40

sessions before the degree can be awarded.

Orientation is held at the end of August.

Classes begin the week after Labor Day.

Christmas - New Years Holidays are observed

The last class is the last week of June

Graduation is the third Saturday in July

Additional holidays will be given in the current calendar

Class Meeting Days

All classes meet one night a week for approximately 3 hours.
The lectures will be recorded so that students may go back and
review after each class. The specific nights of class will be given

to students at orientation.

Attendance and Course Work

It is imperative that students always keep the lines of
communication open. BCBC realizes that life happens.
Sometimes life interferes with the best intentions. Students begin
courses and something happens…jobs, divorce, sickness, etc.

Because BCBC is a caring institution, students will be allowed to
makeup missed assignments. However, these assignments
MUST BE completed within a month of the due date. The
makeup schedule must be discussed with and approved by the
instructor and/or the college administrator.

Students who are attending class in person should contact the
instructor or administrator if they are unable to attend class, by
phone, text, or email. The personal contact information will be
provided at the beginning of the class.

Degree Requirements

Because the courses required for completion of any BCBCdegree are sequential, it is mandatory that students complete thecourses in the sequence they are taught. Therefore, students maynot “skip” any of the courses offered.
